If you’re travelling light, or just want to get from A to B without spending a lot, then our Seat product is the choice for you.
You get a seat and a carry-on bag (up to 7kgs), but no checked baggage.
Our weight restrictions on carry-on bags are designed for the safety and comfort of all passengers, so please ensure yours is under 7kg to avoid any excess baggage charges.
Be entertained while you fly
While you’re onboard, you can enjoy TV shows, music and games through our gate-to-gate, seat-back entertainment. If you prefer to watch movies, for $10 you can pay to view movies inflight right at your seat using your credit card or a voucher that can be purchased at the airport before you fly (cash and debit cards are not accepted on board). Please note that if you are flying on a Virgin Australia operated flight, a Wireless In-flight Entertainment that streams content to your own portable device onboard is used. To use this service you'll need to download and activate Virgin Australia’s In-flight Entertainment app for iPhone and iPod touch, iPad or Android device prior to travel.
Alternatively, Virgin Australia has a limited number of In-flight Entertainment Tablets available on selected flights for use by eligible guests. On some flights you can use the Tablet to access Wireless In-flight Entertainment; on others, the Tablet offers a pre-loaded selection of movies, TV shows and music.

We’ll offer you complimentary tea, coffee and water. If you feel peckish on the flight, you can purchase snacks or drinks from our Inflight Bites menu, using your credit card or voucher (cash and debit cards are not accepted on board).
