Terminal change

Please note that from 22 October 2014, Air New Zealand will be operating out of Terminal 2 at London Heathrow Airport.

However, due to increased security requirements on all flights operating to, through and from the USA, you need to be checked in no later than 2 hours before your flight is due to depart.

If you are travelling from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and London Heathrow you can check in using our self service kiosks (eligible to the majority of nationalities). You will need to scan your machine readable passport and those of your travel companions at the kiosk. You’ll be issued your boarding pass(es) and bag tags if you’re checking in baggage.

Once your bags are tagged you simply drop them at the bag drop where our staff will scan them and check your passport.

If you are travelling on an Air New Zealand flight operated by another carrier (a code share flight) you will need to check-in with the operating carrier.

Please note: Failure to have completed check-in prior to the final bag drop / check-in time stated may result in you being unable to travel as planned.
