Direct Seoul and Hobart services paused from April 2024
Air New Zealand will pause two international routes in April 2024:
- Auckland to Seoul services from 1 April 2024;
- Auckland to Hobart services from 5 April 2024.
These changes come as we adjust our schedule to accommodate mandatory Global Pratt & Whitney (P&W) engine maintenance on some of our grounded aircraft and to allow more resiliency for potential issues with spare engine availability from Rolls Royce, as we continue to deal with the ongoing Trent engine issue and a lack of spares from them.
Customers with affected flights booked directly with Air New Zealand do not need to do anything, they will be contacted with alternative travel options within the coming week. If the flight option is not suitable, impacted customers can apply for a full refund of unused tickets.
Customers booked via a travel agent will be contacted by their respective booking agent.
