* Air New Zealand operated flights only.
premiumeconomy is available on Air New Zealand operated Boeing 777 and 787-9 Dreamliner operated Tasman and Island services.
businesspremier™ is offered on Air New Zealand wide bodied aircraft - Boeing 777 and 787-9 Dreamliner.
Buy snacks and drinks on board
While a meal or drinks are not included with our seat and seat+bag products, you'll be able to purchase snacks and drinks from our Inflight Bites menu using a credit card or prepaid voucher which can be purchased at the airport (please note cash and debit cards are not accepted on board Air New Zealand flights).
With theworks and worksdeluxe* products, once you've enjoyed your meal and drink service, you'll be able to order complimentary additional drinks from the Inflight Bites menu.
For further details on your food options on board, please check out our eating and drinking information.
Please note: Infant meals are not provided so you are welcome to bring your own baby food and feeding equipment on board. Our cabin crew are happy to prepare, heat and wash bottles whenever needed, however please note there are no sterilising facilities on board the aircraft.
Baggage allowances
Airpoints Elite and Gold members can take an additional carry-on bag (up to 7kg) with any of the Seats to Suit products.
Airpoints Elite, Gold and Koru members can take an additional checked bag (up to 23kg) with the seat+bag, theworks and worksdeluxe products. The seat only product does not include checked baggage allowance for any passengers.
Infants are entitled to a one piece cabin baggage allowance but do not receive a checked baggage allowance.
Lounge access
With our businesspremier product you'll receive lounge access when departing from airports where Air New Zealand has a branded and operated airport lounge.
Business class customers also have access to the Qantas lounge when departing from Adelaide and Perth. Please note there is no lounge access at the Sunshine Coast airport.
If travelling via an indirect route lounge access is not available in the transit airport. e.g. if travelling Auckland --> Brisbane --> Cairns, lounge access is available in Auckland only, not Brisbane.
If travelling from a regional New Zealand port lounge, access is available when transiting in New Zealand. e.g. if travelling Dunedin --> Christchurch --> Brisbane, lounge access is available in both Dunedin and Christchurch.
Card payment fee when booking
Paying for your booking with a charge or credit card incurs a percentage based fee that differs by card type. To avoid paying this fee you can pay by Airpoints Dollars, or Air NZ Travelcard.
* worksdeluxe is only available until 30 April 2024.
