Star Alliance Upgrades
If you have purchased a ticket on a participating Star Alliance partner airline flight, you may be able to use your Airpoints Dollars to upgrade.
Star Alliance Upgrade Awards are confirmed at the time of request, based on space availability and ticketed booking class.
The Star Alliance Upgrade award chart shows you how many Airpoint Dollars you need for your upgrade and outlines more information relating to eligible booking classes for each carrier.
Upgrade rewards are available for flights ticketed on the following Star Alliance airlines: Air China, ANA , Asiana, Austrian Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, SAS, Shanghai Airways, Singapore Airlines, Swiss, TAP Portugal, Thai Airways, Turkish Airlines and United.
Please note that upgrades on ANA and Lufthansa may only be requested within 28 days of flight departure.
