Most Business Class fares are fully refundable, with changes permitted right until departure, and beyond too if you don't make your flight. Please note your ticket is not transferable to another person.
Sometimes there are special discounted Business Class fares available, shown as 'Business Saver' fares when booking online. These special fares are non-refundable and the same rules apply to changes as apply to
Flexi Saver fares.
Terms & Conditions for Online Booking
- Business Class fares may be changed right up until departure by calling 13 24 76. Additional payments will apply as follows:
- a Contact Centre or Travelcentre service fee of AUD $20 per person, per one way journey
- where a change requires the purchase of a higher priced fare, the difference between the original fare and the upgraded fare is payable
- Business Class fares are fully refundable, unless previously upgraded from a Smart Saver or Flexi Saver fare when the amount paid for the Smart Saver or Flexi Saver fare remains non-refundable
- Tickets are not transferable to another person
- Airpoints members will earn Airpoints Dollars at a higher rate when travelling on Business Class fares
- The fare level for children (2 - 11 years) is 75% of the applicable adult fare if accompanied by an adult
- One infant (0 - 23 months) not requiring a seat may travel with each adult at the infant fare level (free of charge for domestic New Zealand flights or 10% of the applicable adult fare for international flights), with subsequent infants travelling at the child fare level
- Business Class fares are one-way and may be combined with other fare types as follows:
Tasman Business Class fares
- for international travel may only be combined with Tasman Smart Saver, Flexi Saver, Flexi or Business Class fares
- may not be combined with domestic New Zealand Smart Saver, Flexi Saver or Flexi fares. Domestic New Zealand add-on fares are available for travel within New Zealand in combination with Tasman Business Class fares
Pacific Business Class fares
- for international travel may only be combined with Pacific Smart Saver, Flexi Saver, Flexi or Business Class fares
- Stopovers are permitted as follows:
- when travelling on a Tasman Business Class fare, two stopovers are permitted at no additional charge
- when travelling on a Pacific Business Class fare, one unlimited stopover is permitted at no additional charge
¹ Pacific fares are limited to those fares to the Cook Islands, Fiji, Niue, Norfolk Island, Samoa,Tonga and Vanuatu. While Air New Zealand also flies to New Caledonia and Tahiti, our fares to these destinations have different terms and conditions to the fares explained here.
