Making a difference to our environment
Air New Zealand is committed to minimising aviation's impact on the environment.

To help us achieve this, we offer our customers two options to make an active contribution to environmental sustainability.

You can either directly offset the carbon dioxide emissions from your travel or choose to make a donation to the Air New Zealand Environment Trust.

Use our simple Carbon Offset Calculator to estimate the CO2 emissions from your travel. You can then choose to offset the CO2 emissions from your travel online.

Or you can make a donation to the Air New Zealand Environment Trust to help with the development of conservation and research projects within New Zealand.
